Nick Eh 30 is a professional Fortnite player and live streamer from Canada. His sunny disposition and extraordinary gaming skills have earned him 2 Million followers on twitch, and 5 Million subscribers on YouTube. Proving that positive energy attracts positive results, Nick recently signed a deal with Twitch, becoming one of their official streamers. To celebrate this important career milestone, he needed a total brand makeover.
Challenge
Our challenge was to create a virtual identity infused with positivity, much like Nick himself. We needed to amplify his character into an approachable aesthetic that would comfort his fans. This brand system should also be friendly to partner logos, such as ASUS. All of this had to be executed within a time crunch to prepare Nick for his epic Twitch launch.
Results
The Nick Eh 30 brand is family-friendly and playful so we came up with a modern cartoonish avatar reminiscent of Fortnite. The thought bubbles/clouds allude to mental prowess and his lofty status in the Fornite community. Our assets garnish many areas of his digital presence, including the keyboard camera, subscription alerts, stream intro, and stream outro. A video countdown before his streams builds kinetic energy and excites the audience. There may be clouds in the design, but there is no fluff in the brand. His authenticity shines through the comic book flair.
