RADAR
About the project
Radar partnered with EAT to polish its brand language and expand it to a deck design. Through this process, we created a compelling story to convey an exciting message about high-end technology and the future of retail.
Challenge
To assure retailers of the magic of Radar, how it can help them be more efficient and drive more revenue from their stores using Radar's location tech.
Results
Radar already had its own logo and brand colors before they asked us to elevate their presentation deck. Part of our challenge was to create something new, fresh and immersive with elements that already existed. Our goal was to improve the look and feel using more secondary colors, fonts, iconography, incorporate art direction/imagery/animations/transitions, and visual elements.
The client provided a very inspiring quote: “I don’t want to be another startup. Creativity is our main value." — That deeply spoke to us, since that's a value we share.
- Colors
We used their own color palette, but also used their secondary colors — making the material more creative and dynamic. After research and discussion with the client, we chose to use the colors in a gradient considering it agreed with every goal this material had: to feel cool, to look a bit sci-fi and to feel universal. It looked somewhat like an electromagnetic color spectrum
The design used minimalism paired with color — like the bold font and light font.
The use of iconography was necessary to better organize the information in the deck, to balance it off with the gradient and colorful palette, we created clean, simple, geometric icons.
