Scopely
About
There are two things Scopely does best: mobile games and interactive entertainment. Ask gamers all over the world, casual and hardcore, new and old. Founded in 2011, Scopely is fueled by a world-class team and proprietary technology platform that supports one of the most diversified mobile games portfolios in the West. With such a strong reputation behind them, all Scopely needed was an update on their current visual identity. That’s exactly why they came to us.
Challenge
The challenge was to boost Scopely’s visuals without losing what makes them shine. We had to update Scopely’s visual communication system based on the existing brand elements and approved institutional concepts. What was important was creating a broader, more defined visual identity for the brand that achieved a couple of key points. It had to be anchored in the company’s three main concepts while relating to their product. It had to be built to last and thrive in a digital world. Lastly, it had to translate the company’s passion and expertise right from the jump.
Result
The result was something we could all be proud of. A fresh interpretation of the iconic 'S', which embodies the brand's history, was at the heart of the transformation. We reimagined the brand's color scheme to infuse vitality and dynamism into its communication. When it came to typography, we aimed to ensure flexibility for the multiple forms of applications that are needed. Regarding graphic elements, the dynamic outline of the Scopely “S” is our main graphic element. Along with complementary graphic elements, it will aim to express a refined texture, layering, and directional graphic elements with rich and balanced white space.
