When Capcom, the legendary gaming company, needed a trophy for the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Battle of the Stones, they called us.

This particular trophy would be presented to the winner each year for the next 9 years, which meant it would need to be pretty epic. Some of the things we took into consideration were color choice, shape, size and style.

Excited to begin, we soaked up tons of arcade references for creative inspiration. It was during this process that it hit us — we would create a trophy in the shape of an old arcade game. From there, we began the sketching process and soon settled on the perfect shape. We then chose three bold colors, crafting the final version and making our idea come to life.
